In Your Eyes

When I look into your eyes…

 

…I see sparkles of the night.

 

That shine and shine like the glittering stars…

 

That are above the earth

 

and moon and mars.

 

Across the planet…

 

…towards the sun

 

Where the burning flakes have fun.

 

Where the orange and yellow and red

 

Shine like crazy over my head.

 

Now it’s night, the sun comes down

 

The moon comes up to look around.

 

The moon has comfort in its place.

 

“Goodnight” says the moon, it’s the end of the day.

 

Go up to your room,

 

Get up on your bed.

 

Turn off the light and rest your head.

 

May the morning come some day.

 

Where the light will shine…

 

…And the children will play.
