My insane love for you

A height of a woman's love for her lover which makes her insane eventually.

                                         My insane love for you

 

I sit on the cold floor half drained from trying to get in

 

touch with you but all is in vain, I stare at

 

nothing in particular I close my eyes trying to

 

ease my tense nerves, I recall

How we met? Was I in love with life, or

Life was playing with me?

I don’t remember, but what I don’t understand is that

What went wrong that you deserted me like this?
When I don’t get any answers this

 

increases my anxiety
I start to pull my tangled hair in

 

horror, I start to cry but
No sound comes out of me, sand paper

 

 is felt in my throat I gasp for breath, and

 

look for water butI am tied up, just like

 

 a frightened animal I

Curl up in a corner and rock back and
Forth taking your name softly to myself

There is no one to pacify me to tell me

That everything will be just fine and

Yet I go through another phase of my
Insane love for you…..

 

Author's Note

A free style poem just wild thoughts, plz ignore the excessive use of " i " in nearly every line i tried to ignore it but could not bring that insane love out otherwise.

The desperation comes through strongly... How intense is the feeling of loss when a loved one withdraws... how insane the feelings that drive the mind into an overdrive of self-examination and anguish... You have such a way of bringing alive deep feelings
