I dont know what to do

I keep forgetting about you,

the relationship we had

but when we split in two

i was nothing but glad

 

my heart soares high

I wasn't even sad

when i said goodbye

i just felt bad

 

we always fought

and flipped out too

there never really was a thought

of what i could do

 

we shared good times

and made our mistakes

I'm trying to portray the feeling of a girl who is afraid to break up with a guy because of lost feelings of family matters, trying to tell the guy how she trylu feels in a nice way... any relations?

It's a poem. It's a song. The lyrics fit quite nicely with the music that plays from your who-am-i. Being "caught in a net of a bad romance" certainly indicates a girl that is afraid but she's already broken up with him so the way it's worded is a bit contradictory; at least the way I'm reading it (sequentially). One little o'le typo too, right here, "bieng polite and controlled" (being). You're on a roll. Play it over in your head to that music. I think it will help you smooth out the rhythm and meter.
