Tightrope
A Poem by Rae
A poem about a tightrope girl.
The performer stands on the tightrope. Her audience watch with all their hope.
The rope is secure and not to budge. But only her feet would be the judge.
As she walks onto the swinging bridge, She does not look down from the brown ridge.
Slowly she makes her way across it, Concentration shows her brows are knit.
Making her way through with supreme grace, Poised, until she fell flat on her face.
Screamed, she fell, the ground had no respect. It did not care that it broke her neck.
Her audience wept, trying to cope, With seeing the death on the tightrope.

Just a random poem. I got the inspiration from the song Tightrope by Walk The Moon. ^^

Can I just say that I LOVED the line: "Screamed, she fell, the ground had no respect. It did not care that it broke her neck." ? IT WAS AWESOME SAUCE!
Lol by that I mean it was just magnificent. When writing poetry people can go alot of routes, and the one you chose was very creative. It wasn't at all predictable like I thought it might be. Totally kept me guessing till the end. Awesome!
