The world wears a red coatA Poem by Katho28The world rushes toward me but I don't think I can do the same. The world is stronger than I am, it has been and still is and perhaps always will be.
The world rushes toward me at full speed
And I don't think I can collide with it head-on I'll get a sore bruise and a hell of a headache I'm bruised enough already There are only so many wounds I can sustain Before I crack I'm afraid of what might leak out. But even as I have these thoughts I can see the world dressed in its red coat Its horns pointing directly at me Rushing toward me at full speed Merciless, Cold, Unforgiving, I don't think I can face the world, Not today anyway.
