Letting Go

- As I sit here alone, I am in deep thought. I yearn for fulfillment, for my happiness to be sought. It's sad- lately, I spend my time drowning in sorrow, sadness and grief, no hope for tomorrow. - My screaming thoughts run wild and I can almost see, someone's life of happiness, only this someone appears to be me! This life I speak on and write about, is it fantasy? Real or merely a silhouette and is it even for me? - Engulfed in my head, I gaze outside. Who am I fooling and what am I trying to hide? I know what I want and that want would be you but I can't force your heart to do what it doesn't want to. - Deep down inside, I know I must settle with this but never will I be able to forget our times of laughing, smiles and bliss. ** Dismayed, I'll come to terms with that you no longer have feelings to show. So, here's to my final fleeting thought of you, I'm finally letting go....
