Clouded Well


I feel the spark

See the flame

Will it kindle

to a fire

Or die in vain

Either way

You're risking pain

Burned by the fire

Or frozen in ice

no way of knowing

Just which end is near

The outcome's so unclear

Take the risk

Or just walk away

Maybe live to

See another day

All may yet

End well

Who can tell

The future is...

A clouded well
