Forbidden Zone (1992)

Forbidden Zone (1992)

A Poem by Katseye

Forbidden Zone

I called it home,

Just a short time ago.

Now it's my forbidden zone.

When hurt or angry,

Sad or scared,

Far from the pain I'd roam;

To the place I called home.

I called it home,

Because, my friend,

You were there.

You held me when I cried.

Helped when ;

My pain was too much to bare.

It was you, my friend,

That pulled me through,

When fear stood in my way.

Now you're the reason:

The place I once called home,

Is now my forbidden zone.

Now in your eyes,

I am the enemy.

Not the friend as before.

You live in the forbidden zone,

And by you,

I am forbidden from my home.
