How I Feel

 

How can I make you understand:

Understand how strongly I feel for you?

You just don't seem to know what I mean,

When I say, "I need you."

And I need you just doesn't say what I want to say.

I'd say, "I love you,"

But so have so many who have hurt you.

You just don't trust those words anymore.

 

Let me try to explain:

My feelings this way,

It's killing me that I can't see you,

Hold or caress you.

I want to lie in your arms,

Get lost in your eyes.

Your voice puts me in a trance,

Like an angel singing.

 

I'd follow you anywhere,

If it ment I could;

Hold your hand,

Here your heavenly voice,

Kiss your sweet lips.

I'd give the world-

To live in your grace,

To lie by your side each night,

And wake in your arms each morning.

This is all I wish.

 

Now do you understand,

How strongly I feel for you?
