Please Understand;

I love you.
We've been together for almost two years.
In that time have we not;
Grown and changed?

I'm afraid we've also grown apart.
It would be so easy to break up if we:
Fought bitterly, or
Hated one another,
But I do still love you.

I must do what's right.
I've changed.
Our relationship,
Just isn't what I need.
I fear it may never be.
If we try to hold on,
We will just be making a mistake.

So I must now say goodbye.
Please understand,
I love you,
And so must do what's right.

Who knows what tomorrow may bring?
