Love is Like a Rose

 

The rose symbolizes love;

Which is only right,

As they are both so alike.

 

Roses have,

Beauty unmatched.

Except by that of love.

 

As the rose has thorns,

Love has hurts.

 

Yet for the beauty of each...

It is only just,

That one must pay,

A toll of small pains,

Along the way:

 

For the treasure awaiting the Brave.
