Inspiration

 

You inspire me;

To write,

But that's not all.

Nor is it that,

You inspire me,

To draw.

 

You make me feel...

My work deserves...

A wider audience,

Than the select few.

Mainly just you.

 

But it's not just...

Words and lines,

Bits of color on the paper.

No it's my heart and soul,

Poured out on the page.

 

Can the wide would understand?

Will they accept,

Or ridicule?

Am I strong enough...

To face;

Such scrutiny?
