Not Alone

I had sadness and pain,
Walked on through-
The rain;
I've come through-
Standing tall,
I've survived the strain!

The golden light's,
Shining down once more-
Warm and comforting.
Standing now,
On my own.
Still I know-
I'm not alone.

Because my friend,
I know you are there,
And will be-
To the very end!

This poem had good rhyming and it had a good topic. Friends are so important. I don't know what I'd do without mine! Then I would really feel alone. Friends just make the world a completely different place. I'm happy to hear you have a friend you can count on and love. We all need someone like that. :)
