GloominessA Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola...I wobbled down the streets, On the way of gloominess. My mind wandered in zeal, But couldn't find a rest. Time by time I waned, And struggled with hopelessness. While my eyes was tainted, With some blinding darkness I smile at my pain, And kept walking my way. Hoping that someday, My life will make a change. I walked but never stop, Though felt I'm ever stuck, But eagerly my mind await, Waiting for light to come. After falling a million times, I learned to walk blindingly, Striving without a might, I felt I'm getting energy. So sooner than later, I saw a door through the darkness, A door that leads to light, Light at the end of the tunnel. © 2019 Kay Salisu TitilolaAuthor's Note
