We Live A Story

A new book is opened wide,
left blank for all to write on.
Every pen is ready to indite
the unknown story that just begun.

Time couldn't wait to show how it's like,
with all the dramas it brings along,
putting together every single line
for every writer to look back on.

Your story might come with mysteries;
mine with events too unreal to be real.
The best is just to keep writing
and never dwell on the unnecessary.

The beauty of a book lies within its line.
And the joy of a writer is to see it and smile.
A new year is here to story our lives
and the ending depends on the spice we add.

I like the personification of the new year and how it will story our lives. The use of a word usually a noun, as a verb (story) is perfect for this piece.
The ending will be how we all write it....and maybe the appendix will say why.

I really enjoyed your poem. Makes you count your blessing! Even if said life is not easy. But to realize its your own story of life you fill the pages with. And each new blank page is unique not matter what because it's about ourself and our onces in a life time journey on earth. But who is to know maybe we relive the same life until its fixed good bad or indifferent. Who we meet mix with overcome challenges and such like. could go on but made me think. Great poem. Thought provoking and interesting.
