COVID 19

This story is about the difficulties people faced during the pandemic and people losing jobs as well.

In the year of 2020 COVID 19 had a virus that hit hard in the United States. I remember people losing their jobs, going on unemployment, people were hospitalized and sick from this virus. people have died from it as well losing loved ones and friends. Governor Cuomo announced that there would be a lock down in the US. People were not able to go to the grocery store to buy food they had to rely on the food pantry and the meals on wheels for families that were eligible. Malls, banks, post offices, libraries, schools were closed as well due to the pandemic. This virus became so dangerous that everybody was required to wear masks and quarantine for a couple of days. Health workers were the only ones required to work because they offered covid tests outside and in their tents and in a van as well. There were also vaccines being offered to people that want to take it and they were incentives involved for those who take it. But some people were scared to take those vaccine because they didn't know what was in this type of chemical and how their body would react to it. I remember taking my vaccine for the first time in the year of 2021 and when I got this shot I was in pain for a couple of hour's so when I got home I rested for a couple of hours and the next time I got up I felt much better. I thank God today that I am still living from taking that vaccine because some of my friends were advising me not this shot. But I am glad God led me to take this shot and I am happy to still be alive and well today.
