Surrending my Life to God

This story is about Giving my life to God and sacrificing things to get more into him.

One day as I was sitting in my room reading my Bible I was led to read Proverbs 3:5-6 it states Trust in the lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. For a very long time I felt the need to control my situation and my life instead of giving it to God. Once I began to surrender my will to God's will I began to see a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders. I started giving up people, places and things that were no longer serving me and just sacrifice my time with God by reading his word, praying and fasting as well. I felt a change like never before I had peace, joy and love. Iam so glad I surrendered my life to God's will.
