A shattered memoryA Poem by KiraEveryone had their own chance, but they gave me a
used one, I threw my empty chance and watched it as the chance hit the wall and
shattered. The pieces fell and I saw my reflection, she was screaming for help,
begging for purification. I stood still, staring at her as she collected the
crying pieces and tried to fix everything. However, it was used and empty. I
grabbed the pieces with her and felt them cutting through my skin, I saw the
tears of the broken chance, wishing if they could stay immersed within me as
they become a part of me. I , the forsaken become a whole, still feeling the
shattered pieces in my blood, yearning for salvation deep inside, but outside,
I am only a forsaken memory! © 2017 KiraAuthor's Note
