Insanity

A Poem by Kellyrose

It started
with hearts and flowers
but, then took a sinister twist
his cruelty knew no bounds
as he chipped away
at her self-confidence
insidiously planting seeds of doubt
she loses sense of self
destroying her sanity
while she slowly fades away
