Actions speak louder

This poem is not literal, but it is symbolic of many relationships I have had.

You say you love me

as you throw me to the floor

You say you need me

as you're walking out the door

You say you miss me

but you never come home

You say you want me

but you leave me alone

You say forever

but don't give me a day

You say never

but do it anyway
