Between: Me and You

The separation between someone might be rather hard but we have to face it.

 

Life is all but a breeze,

Looking at the starlit sky,

Tears swell in my eyes,

Journeying back to the past years,

I remember how we were.

 

Though you were yonder,

Still you were near,

Now you are near,

But no more clear.

 

The smiles you brought were the ones I’ve never seen,

But now you have gone,

It’s tears which keep falling,

The ones you left for me.

 

Now, you have left me,

Not I, but you,

You might have hidden memories revolving me in your closet,

But, I, would never do such a thing except keeping you.

 

You might have found somebody new,

But I have none other than you!
