A taste of chocolate
Is what I am to him...
Dark introduction
To warm, creamy sin.
Sweet exotic taboo
Makes his mother mad
Spiciest delicacy
He's ever had.
And I like it...
Because I drive him wild
And though it's wrong to admit,
It often makes me smile
The way he's so open
I mean, the man is so far gone
He goes into shock
When his cocoa's not home
So I promise to stay close
And to never stray.
Yet when I get up to leave,
He begs me to stay.
He says I am his addiction, his affliction, his muse.
He suffers from loneliness, panic, and the blues
When my body is farther than his arms can reach...
And I know he means every word he speaks.
His lips never betray,
Whether pressed against mine
Or whispering sweet words.
I receive truth every time.
And truth be told,
this is no one-sided tilt
Because I, too, prefer
my coffee with milk.
Cafe au lait.
I like my chocolate cookie with cream.
He and I, when entangled,
are like an Oreo dream.
Entwined, love-combined,
I am him, he is I
Dark vanilla bean
In a white chocolate sky.
