The name Thomas is a killer…

 

It causes the heart to beat eccentrically

It sends a strong tingle through the veins

It causes severe clumsiness

It alters the train of thought

It clouds the brain

It causes insomnia

It effects the emotions

It creates high confusion

It causes the palms the frantically sweat

And the tongue to frantically stutter

 

It creates delusions

It distracts from the necessities of life

It causes one to become delirious

It develops a sudden energy

It shivers the skin

It weakens the knees

It creates a sense of vulnerability

It develops an ache in the gut

It trembles the heart

And it tickles the soul

 

The name Thomas is a killer

Er...this is a little different from my usual style of poetry. Don't know why I decided to pu tit on here, probably shouldn't. It's mostly just thoughts and feelings really, so try not to be hard on me, please.

This is so real to me; you accurately portrayed what it means for so many to be in love (especially the first time - reading this really brings me back). I get a bit of a sense that is it unrequited. I enjoyed it; good job. :)
