Blending in

Blending in

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

I have become nothing but a whisper in the wind

A shadow in the night

Placing myself at the back of a crowd

Wearing a smile as my mask

Hiding the dark nothingness that has consumed me

I can’t help but feel a deep chilling anger at others happiness

Or is it longing

The tentacle reaching out and taking of it what they can

At first it causes a warmth in me but soon it turns to bitterness in my mouth

Then again I am consumed by the dark nothingness

Pax
oh how dark nothingness engulf the soul...
well blending in is not always an easy task...
lets just say, its part of the survival list on life's challenges...
your doing a great job already...
great work my friend!
