Under the Bodhi treeA Poem by Andy LeavyThe Quest for inner peace
Under the Bodhi tree
I sit and ponder, under the Bodhi tree I let my mind wander. Under the Bodhi tree I leave the human race, under the Bodhi tree I join time and space. Under the Bodhi tree I forget my problems, under the Bodhi tree Inner peace blossoms. Under the Bodhi tree I leave my body behind, under the Bodhi tree I'm just left with my mind. Under the Bodhi tree I consider the bad with the good, under the Bodhi tree I don't feel misunderstood. Under the Bodhi tree I'm in my own dome, under the Bodhi tree I feel like I'm home.
