Undying

The mind's emotions are forever

Living on, and dying; never.

No matter how damaged

Nor how unduly managed,

Emotions last forever.

Feelings are forever.

Love, Hate, Fear, Confusion,

All of these last forever.

The mind is scarred.

Its wounds forever undying.

i agree with you that emotions are forever, however, (as cliche as this is) time does heal the wounds. the mind will be scarred but we have to be strong enough to overcome the obstacles created for us by a scarred mind. very insightful poem.
