Stairway

Inspired by Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven"

Each time it takes over,
I find myself one step higher.
Climbing that stairway,
That Stairway into Heaven.

No matter how much
I try to fight,
I'm pulled up higher,
Destined for endless flight.

Upon the whispering wind,
Are carried truth and sin.
These two words have a very fine line between
Because you know, words have two meanings.

Each time it takes over,
I find myself one step higher.
Climbing that stairway,
That Stairway into Heaven.

I climb one step higher.
Climbing that stairway,
Up to Heaven.

Inspirational poetry from a beautiful song, I loved the flow, and the pleasant, uplifting feelings. I particularly enjoyed the last two stanzas, because they were unique, the way you made them sound similar, and yet so different. Flawless write, enjoyed reading.
