Some of you are old enough,
Most of you are old enough to understand,
The world isn’t a great place,
Nor is it the best place to be real in,
So why do we all expect so much,
Thinking you’ll be coddled for crying,
Expecting mommy and daddy to hold your hand,
Oh cut it and GIMME A break,
You’ve had a break up,
Your lost a job at some point,
You’ve had to have lost someone close,
But babying won’t do or give you jack,
Im 16,
Im look ahead,
Leaving the past behind,
I understand this world clearly,
But if you can’t move on to find joy,
How do you ever expect to ever do anything.
