Ever-Sweet Nature

My Sonnet for English class!!!

The rain falls all around,

cooling the misty air.

Silver drops a melodic sound,

tapping the ground in pairs.

Grass dances in the wind,

I lie down with the green.

Soft and gentle, it greets my skin.

I take in the natural scene.

Time flies like a dove,

I wish to watch it soar.

Somewhere, people fall in love,

I feel happy to my core.

The world to beautiful, a treat,

God's nature appears ever-sweet.

This was one of my favorite pieces to write. Very first sonnet I ever wrote. :)
