You want me to shine bright
like a diamond and love the way
you lie as if you are the only guy

We are young and your beautiful
just the way you are so why do I
 have to change to make it this far?

You keep making me weak whenever
I walk in the door but maybe it's
because I have gone through this before

You tell me we should make the most
of the night like we're going to die young
just to have a little fun but what if I want
more than that hun?

And I wonder do I ever cross your mind
or am I just alone in this because it happens
to me all the time, I just need you now but
