Been a while since I have seen your face

and I forgot how much you make my heart race

I don't know how long I can take not being in your

arms, your love so sweet and you kept me from harm

 

Been a while since I heard you laugh and I just

have the memories in short flash backs to remind

me of the past and I want them all back

 

Been a while since I felt your love and I

know it will never be as it once was but

that wont stop me from trying because I

am tired of all the tears you have been

supplying

The content is very consistent throughout this piece. It flows wonderfully well. An easy read with a sad, melancholy thought behind it.
