from thinking of you, thinking of anything to kill the gloom

I wish you would come this way, make the darkness fade away

but you don't have much to say these days

No, no.. quite the contrary. It's a good puzzle. You need to find a creative partner, I think. Your poetry is very lyrical so you may as well take advantage of that and find a composer to work with. At the least it would probably take your mind and thoughts in new directions and should be a good thing. (Not that there's anything wrong with where they are right now.)
