Imperfection

I know I am not perfect, I will let people down

but trying to be flawless can weigh you to the ground

Take it from me, imperfection is the way to be

not all the pressure of hiding your face, or making

up excuses of all your past mistakes

Why try to be something your not, when

all your life you worry about who your not

instead of owning who you are

Take it from me you are better off being who

you are, its easier to own up now than go too far

No one is perfect, we all have our scars, its

what you do about them that will determine

where you are, be it love or war

Take it from me, imperfection is the way to be
