Some Color To Reality

Why I wrote this I probably could not tell you completely but it just came into my mind

I try to say my piece of mind
But that's not what they want
Me, you, us
They say to think alike
Though difference is the key
To make us who we are
As long as were acceptable to society
But step out of line just one time
Be who you are for just a minute
Watch them turn their backs
We can stand alone
Being who we are
And start our better movement
Look away from the normal
Because normal is the gray of a color scheme
I want to put some color to reality
Show the colors that I am and who we are
Weather or not they are accepted
I stand where I am
Paint brush in hand
To paint a better living
