Convincing Liar

This is a song a wrote awhile back one of the best ones i think i have made so enjoy

You cant break the skin

You cant leave me here to die

Even if your mind wants to

And i know

I made my mistakes and im sorry

Can you ever forgive me

 

Break away from the world

Its to much that i can handle

All the dirty looks and the disapointed people

Please look away your making me feel worse

Maybe its better if im gone

 

But if you think about it

I dont even know what i did

And you cant even look me in the eyes

And tell me the truth

 

I hear all the people talking behind my back

About how much a jackass i am

And i see you

Just standing there

Acting like nothing has happened

 

Because you know that you are lieing

Your the one who should be in place

But that wont work

Because your such a convincing liar

 

But if you think about it

I dont even know what i did

And you cant even look me in the eyes

I can see you in the halls

And you know what you've done

I can see it in your eyes

You just keep it up

very "One Republic-ish" lol (not a word i know) but, as stated in a previouse review, i have been down the road with a bad girl, and in the end, all you can do is laugh. knowing that you are right, and they are wrong is all you need to know. because they know they are wrong as well. another great great great great write broseph! i am looking forward to more!!!!!!

from beginning to end this poem speaks on a level of implicity that is
difficult to accomplish as you have, intently heartfelt, the talent
of this poem resides in the emotional attachment and design
placed upon the emphasis of form and linebreaks, carries and flows
very well, the sincerity is what captures th reader and doesn't
let go until the very end. brilliant job, keep it up.
