How Did This Happen

How did I become my worst enemy

The person I would see months and months ago

And loath

Somehow I became that person

I never saw it coming

Now I want to change it

But people always tell me

That people never change

So how then…

How can I change

When you can hardly believe most the things I say

To be completely honest

I can’t believe I’ve become this

I’ve become someone I’d hate

This is a really great poem. It flows perfectly and shows such emotion. I have felt like this too. I became someone that I couldn't believe I could be. I found my silverlining though, and things got better. I was able to turn around before anything got out of hand. Just keep up the hard work and in the end things will get better =)
