My Lost DesiresA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaBefore life catches up us, my thoughts will have faded. The words, stripped of freshly picked stars, roll through emptiness of your gaze. I made up a world that everyone will envy me. I made myself such tears that every tramp dreams of. Light the morning in my night, light kindle hope that will help me recognize your shadow. Abused cruelly by loneliness, I look for pain that will soothe my lost desires. Kiss me before the last lighthouse goes out. Waves washed our sins ashore.
