GoodnightA Poem by Kathrine Rethornpretty much how I like to sleep way exaggeratedGoodnight There's nothing more Refreshing than to sleep In a chilled room The night outside drifts In through the open window To cloak my body in A silken veil The stars tickle And laugh against my skin The storms that roll through, clouds like Soothing cotton, the rain to Wash away my worries Lightning strikes Filling my mind With static electricity Usually once Sometimes twice So I can wake up And see the clear morning sky
