Radiant Rosebud

I wrote this in honor of a character near and dear to my heart. This is a fantasy poem dedicated to a dragon that is both a powerhouse and a loveable lass. I'm wanting to incorporate her into a story

Radiant Rosebud high in the sky

Only you could ever try

Soaring wings waft you up high

Easy as ever to see through a lie

Beautiful friend of old

Unearth ancient friendship never told

Don't be fearful or too bold

Return beloved dragon of green scale

Utter a cry to drive into evil like a nail

To you all must seem small

Under armored flesh it's evil you maul

Radiant Rosebud I call my friend

Never failing my heart you mend

I adore this poem!! It well describes the dual nature of people, animals and creatures which sometimes might seem wrong as it might involve some socially unacceptable traits but in reality it makes them who they are.
