First love

the first time i met you
thought you were here to stay
that you'd forever be mine
and never slip away

for if things were in my hands..
i'd have saved both of our hearts
but this was a part of His plan
neither i can help it nor you can

but if i were to die first
i'll come down an angel
i'd give you wings to fly
for until the last moment
my love for you shall never die
my love for you shall never die

life's short; soon we'll be old
it's just a matter of time

for up in the heaven
there'll be a re-union

for up in the heaven
it'll be you and i again
even if we'd never be together
in my heart you shall remain

the conqueror of my heart
the guardian of my soul
the torch-bearer of my life
thy name resonates my whole

never wait for the time the suns shines on us
for i promise you the time we'll shine with the sun
