I want to love you.

To hold your hand in mine,

To kiss your forehead,

To hear your whisper in my ear,

To hold you in my arms,

To feel your head against my chest,

To wipe away all your tears,

To know the soft sound of your breath,

To know the beating of your heart,

To know your hopes and dreams,

And to know you intimately.

 

I want to tell you that you’re beautiful.

That it’ll be okay,

That you are wonderful,

That you are precious,

That you are extraordinary,

That you are the truest truth,

That you are my greatest treasure,

That you are my everything,

That you are my first love,

And that you are my only love.

 

I want you to be my wife.

To be my best friend,

To be my partner in life,

To be the one I can trust,

To be the reason I smile,

To be the reason I laugh,

To be the reason I live,

To be my comfort,

To be my peace,

To be my joy,

And to be my true love.

 

But most of all,

I just want you to know that I love you.
