Kuperu Sonnet 2

Kuperu Sonnet 2

A Poem by James Cooper T.
"

This is a sonnet for my teacher named Prof. Mahalia Sultan. This is to appreciate the moments with her and her kindness throughout the semester.

"
KUPERU SONNET 2

To what confess should I attest
Teacher, a guide, support you give
To what extent, thou mother, thy best
A gift you are, in life to live

Thy moment, precious teaching shimmer
At noon, mid-afternoon, on Saturday
oh, little do you know, how I wish this to be forever
and there in awe you teach, ,kind words you lay

But time will come, and does it come
when last of meet, so bitter it tastes
When she farewells, how dark this day succumb
and we set foot on road not taken, it hastes

Yet this is not the end, nor last that we will meet
if God wills it, with batchmates, gathered we eat.
