Moon

Silent is the night

With the Moon lighting my sight,

Every step I take...

Closer to you I get!

The Moon is guiding me,

Helping me see

Through the Darkness

Of the never-ending night.

Where are you hiding now,

Behind some cloud?

Somewhere, my dear Moon,

Somehow I will find you!

Running over mountains and valleys,

Swimming through the waters of the seas

I search for the light of the Moon

In the darkest of nights

For it's purest light,

Shinning behind the clouds,

Keeps me moving forward...

Closer to you!

I am howling for you,

Calling you back to me!

I hope you hear my voice

In the dark of the night;

Clawing my way to you,

I shall not give you up!

My journey is coming to an end,

I climb the highest mountain

To have you in my sight,

Your beauty shinning on my face;

I'm right here, I found you,

My little Moon!

I like this, it's very powerful. Hopeless at the beginning and hopeful at the end, I mean, that feeling comes to me when I read it. Imagery is wonderful in this one. Thanks for sharing. :D
