Eyes Open

A short 'story' I wrote up last month

I have lost track of how long I've been in here, certainly though, these vast landmarks are now so much familiar to me that I often remind myself to actually notice them, rather than passing through without notice. Thinking I can take step by step along the edges without stumbling is known as naïve, though, I've deeply and honestly considered to it’s fullest that if one is to fall, it is essentially critical to keep one’s eyes firmly open.
