The Fear

The fear of Cancer is so bad..I worry constantly of its returning. It is in my dreams I can not escape it. I lost family to cancer, I have co workers that I work close with that have been diagnosed with cancer and died from it. It is everywhere I turn. I am a cancer survivor and I feel like I can not get over there fear.

A legitimate fear, Kym. It's a frightening and devastating disease that casts a shadow over life even when defeated. Your strength carried you to a victory over it, so live in the moment and enjoy the life you have fought hard to have. I feel many of us will be able to relate to your poem.
