Betrayal

This was originally about a temp at our school, but now that I look back, it could be a monologue by Smeagol...

You listened to our cries and our pleas,

Then you sent us into the lion's den.

You heard our stories of her terror and her corruption,

And you tricked us.

We helped you ,

And you left us to die.

You can't.

You can't stow us, and leave us to die.

You can't love us and spit in our eye.

We will have our revenge,

For you have tricked us,

And betrayed us,

And fed us in the lion's den,

We will have our revenge.

On that smug grin,

On those unshaven scars,

On that evil laugh of yours,

On those cracked glasses,

We will have our revenge,

Upon you.

Wow, what an...emotional (to put it kindly) piece you've got there. I could just feel the wretchedness of vengeance burning in every part of this poem...I also found myself wondering what this temp did. I would be very threatened to receive a poem like this. Anyhow, well-conveyed and well written.

Well, you see, in our French class(last year, as it is Summer now) we had this EVIL woman from Casa-Blanca(City in Morocco[Country in Northern Africa]) as our French teacher, and she was a horrible person, she never taught us anything, she treated us like dirt, etc, etc, etc. And the school board would never do anything about it, no matter what we did. So the last few weeks of school, we were supposed to have a temp instead of her because she had an extra class because of testing. BUT- after some of the REALLY annoying girls in our class started being a smart-a*s with him, he decided, the next day, to turn us in to her, and we had to do ACTUAL WORK. But, to be honest, she usually wasn't there half the time and we had random temps anyway... But she was still a d*ck, and he was an even bigger d*ck for f*cking us over...
