You broke my heart to many times

For me to just forget.

Trusting you can make me do

Some things I might regret.

 

Letting you back into my life

Is something I shouldn’t do.

But even though I hate you,

To my heart I must stay true.

 

I love you, but I hate you,

Every single day.

It seems you use me as a toy,

That you just love to play.

 

I can’t help it really

That I let you back each time.

I just love those few short moments

That I can call you mine.

 

It seems that everything I do

Is never quite enough.

All of those things I gave you,

I put my heart into that stuff.

 

One day when you need me

You’ll see me no longer there.

By then I’ll have found someone

That truly will really care.
