Plundering Of her Soul

Plundering Of her Soul

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

 A horrible crime...

  Rape - Loss of innocence
            Rape - She didn't have a choice
Rape - Nobody heard her voice
Rape - Memories of the past...
    Erased out her soul
     She doesn't want to remember
She wants her husband to go
She thinks he finds her unclean

  Her innocence ...so violated

And the guilt is killing her

Even though it's not her faul

She feels as though it is

She told her husband to go...

He refused ...

    He loved her even though

~

The monster who raped her accomplished his mission

He used and abused her

Took all her visibility

      Now...

        She just wants to hide

The scene keeps playing in her head...

Like a bad movie

 Rape...She didn't have a choice

Rape...Nobody heard her voice
