Ultimate Deception- Part 4A Story by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne Lisa lay in the tiny, enclosed hull of the ship, unable to move more than an inch. Captured by her own leader, field commander, General Nojak Fedders. Trapped in the tiny hull of the ship, contemplating the last few months of her life. She had become a member of the Special Ops, joining forces with Christian James. At first, they were just working comrades, but later he became her husband. Although it was a tightly bound secret of the utmost importance, none the less, against all rules, they had married. But then, almost everything in their lives was of the “cloak and dagger “agenda. The truth and the mysterious lives they led were not to be closely examined. Being so deep undercover had taken its toll on their lives, as it had on so many others who worked with the Special Ops Forces. They had both taken on the challenge and failed. Two brilliant people, highly intelligent and efficient had inadvertently fallen in love with one another. A definite “NO" in the eyes of the Special Ops Forces. Two brilliant fractions of blue light pierced the darkness that surrounded her. The light was from a hologram of her commanding officer General Fedders, who had contacted her for the first time in 3 days. She was hoping against all hope that she would never have to see his evil, menacing face again. It was all too painful, knowing he had betrayed her and Christian. But she knew he would come to her again, it was just a matter of time. ##
“DOJ-Secret Six-Plus”; encryption code 666”; the worst nightmare to have ever fallen upon her and Christian. They had been used, played with and now were in the hands of the enemy, the devil himself. “Well, Lisa my dear”, General Fedder’s voice could be heard echoing throughout the tiny room. “Your mission is coming to an end my friend. Now it’s either your life or Christians, what will it be”? You are the determining factor…love or life, what shall it be Lisa”? Her eyes flickered with heartache and her heart fell to the bottom of her stomach. “Ah yes, it is up to you”, General Fedders said, as he took a deep breath of considerable faction. “Well, then General, consider me dead”, Lisa said, “Because I will never betray Christian. Never”! “Well then”, Fedders blurted, “We’ll just have to wipe you from the records…just like you never existed”. Then the hologram flickered out, leaving Lisa in silence and total darkness again!
She was filled with anger, frustration, grief and bitterness, as she went over all the details of the security breech in her head. They had initiated “lock down” protocol, but there was not enough informed personnel to turn back the attack. It was too late, General Fedders and his men had occupied the entire base, before “lock down” could go into effect. Their mission to take over, had been relatively easy, considering the total turmoil the Army was in. The panicked guards ran as fast as they could to try and contain the panic, but to no avail, they had all been shot and killed. The main security control room was covered in blood after all the explosives that were placed went off. There was no escape for her; she was one of the few left alive. She had done her job, at least the job she was trained to do. She was not expecting General Fedders to become the enemy.
She knew there was no escape. She wondered where Christian was. Was he dead or alive? She didn’t know. She prayed he would still be alive, and that somehow, someway he would find her! Find her before it was too late! Her lips quivered as she thought about him. The man she married, her companion for life. Life as long as it lasted. Now, she had to accept that she was going to die at the hands of
someone in the Special Forces, the Special Forces no one knew about, that is-
except General Fedders and his band of evil men and women.
## Tiny wisps of smoke began to curl themselves around the door leading to the Lab; it was the only hint of someone being there beside herself. What was going on Lisa wondered to herself. What were they planning on doing with her…and when? She heard the interior door of the Lab open and close. Two men had left the room; Lisa could barely see their images through the crack in the door. They had on white lab coats, not official military gear. Should she let them know somehow she was there? But how would she do that. she was so tightly entombed inside the ship’s hull. “Please God”, she prayed, “Please help me”. “Please help me know what to do to save myself and Christian, that is if he’s still alive”. Lisa has never prayed as desperately as she prayed now. She had so many regrets for joining the Special Forces Ops. So many, many regrets! If she had it to do over again, she would never join such an evil covert operation like the Special Forces PSYOPS. Never!
