Misty Water Colored Memories

Misty Water Colored Memories

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

The love we had...

I crave within my heart

The sweetest of misty memories

Your laughter and the tenderness we shared

At times the fingers of shattered tears

Scattered pictures that slowly made...

Empty spaces

Lonely places

Your candy coated kisses

The honeyed nectar of your laugh

Makes my soul ache with desire for you

To hold me

Love me

With unwritten law

If it could just be so ...

I'd burst forth with the passionate womanness in me

Which longs to be set free

Now...
My lust remains

Nothing but the dust remains

A faded memory of a long time ago

Of you and me

A love that was never meant to be

And...

The way we were

Hauntingly poignant Anne... brought to mind memories of my own, all-but forgotten.
